The day after Christmas I got an invite to go eat supper and visit with Herman and Glenda, Carol and Ken, and the kids and cousins. We always have a good time. I had already taken presents out early on morning and left on the porch. I drove out there carefully in the snow. It was so pretty. Looked like someone had poured ten tons of Cool Whip on everything. They gave me my presents and as usual got the best stuff! We had supper. It was vegetable soup without the veggies. Carol doesn’t do vegetables or “sweet meats.” But, the soup was fantastic!!! I want that recipe. We decided not to play cards, so we visited and helped carol with a Christmas puzzle she had gotten last year. Fun, simple, easy night! Loved being with them all.
