A Baby Quilt – Going to See My Neice

McKinley Davis - My Great Neice

McKinley Davis– I about 2 weeks I am going with my mother and my neice, Ashley, to Mary’s, another neice, wedding in Florida. We are all excited to get to be with all the kids and their family. When I knew I was going I started making Lori’s new baby, McKinley, a gift. I decided I wanted to burn her name and designs in a wooden foot stool. I had a blast doing it.

Then I decided I needed to make a baby quilt, just because I hadn’t quilted anything in about a year. I had 2 panels with teddy bears in primary colors so I sandwiched them together and whipped that sucker out yesterday. It was a lot of fun! Then every little diva needs a purse. So, I found a small black velvet bag and am putting some glam on it. So, Here is my latest creative efforts made especially for McKinley!
