Choo Choo Train – I got to do somethng unique today…

Today, Mama & I  got to tour a special Union Pacific train at the Union Pacific railroad yard in North Little Rock.  Because of a series of things we ended up in NLR instead of catching the train in Morrilton. Long story short, Barbara, nephew Chis’ mother, flew in from Nebraska  to ride the company train back with her husband, David. So we got to take her to the train and have a personal tour  We got to see the car that David works and sleeps in, the cars for the staff, the kitchens, the eating cars, the bathrooms, the observation car, the car that was a total gym, meeting room, guests rooms, and the end car that has stadium seating for the men that are on board that are working to watch their area. The pictures on the walls are of famous celebrities ridng the train. The pile of dark brown in the chain link fence is a pile of ralroad spikes. In some of the pictures you can see the dome of the state capitol. The whole day was very interesting and  EVERYONE was so nice!!!!!!! We had a great time and a good visit! Thanks, Y’all! Oh, when you get off the train you have to walk down backwards holding on……
