AQG Block of the Month #4 – April

AQG Block of the Month #4 – April – We got behind because of  the first of the year and a cancellation because of snow, so, this month we are on the fourth block for the picture block of the month. I a making an original picture block using fusible web. I thought of what would be good for April. April Showers Bring May Flowers!! I wanted it cute and saw a rubber ducky and that clicked. So here is my new block. I had to rush to finish it before the meeting, so it is not totally embroidered.  And I might put some grasses or flowers on the green ground. The pattern has to be reduced for the blog, but you can enlarge it  to a 12 1/2 inch square. Let me know what ya think!

  1. Jim, I have just read your last four or five posts. All I can say is “Whew!!!” You’ve been all over the place. I did get tickled reading about your collections. Having been in your home many times, I can safely say you may have more collections than any human being I know. In fact, some of what I know….I learned from YOU. Don’t we love our ‘stuff’? I’m glad you’ve had some fun….(LOVE the log cabin quilt you found!) and will look forward to seeing you at our monthly group meeting tomorrow. I’m sure you will WOW us with even more of your quilts and other interesting things. pat
