Starving Aritsts and Lunch with Friends – A good week!

Starving Artists – This week I was invited to go to lunch in NLR at The Starving Artist Cafe with Carol, Ann, and Sara. They are all ex-students and friends from way back from the First Baptist Church. I have so any good memories of them growing up in Morrilton.  Carol drove and we met Sara and Ann at The Starving Artist Cafe in the old Argenta section of North Little Rock. The cafe is in an old building and is full of artists creations. It is a

unique place. The walls are covered with paintings and art of all sizes and types. I now know why some of them are starving. The menu was sorta limited, but okay and it is a great place to talk and visit.

After a long time we went to Ann’s house that is in the old section to see what they have done with their 2 story house. I saw it when they first got it and it is what you would call run down and a fixer-upper.

They have done a WONDERFUL job. He’s an architect and she likes antiques, so between them they now have a lovely place. real functional with charm.
Then Carol & I went to Sara’s house in NLR. She has her house up for sale and is packing a little bit as she goes.  She

took us around to show us what she was getting rid of and of course Carol found a chair she liked and I found 2 end tables that were perfect for what I had been looking for. Then off to see Sara’s new house.

Sara’s new house is wonderful. In a perfect spot in a gated community. She really has a great floor plan and everything is so convenient.  Just a good day all around!! Thanks, Girls!!!
