Second Saturday – Carol Ann’s Sit & Sew

I took a tiny nap after lunch. Snoring and all.

A FUN DAY!!   Yesterday was Second Saturday which is on the

Carol Ann getting lunch ready.

second Saturday of the month. Hince the name…  My dear friend Carol Ann has been hosting it for years at her house. It is a sit & sew day for any quilter. Anyone can come bring their machine or hand work and work all day.  The early birds get there at 9:00 and the rest just come when they get around. And we can stay until 5:00. I guess we could stay longer, but we usually are all gone by then. And it is a potluck! We never know what everyone is bringing so it is always a big surprise what people will bring for lunch. We had a big group today several around the big dining table, 3 at the smaller table in the living room and people all around the room at individual tables.
