I got home last week and heard someone at the back door. It was a man delivering packages. I don’t remember what company he was with, but when I went out there were 3 boxes! I was trying so hard to figure out if I had ordered something and then read the lables. One was from my dear friend, Mary Lou from Clinton, one was from another great friend Susan from Little Rock, and the other one was from Brian and Kevin from Indianna. As I was opening with a question mark across my face, I remembered that I couldn’t go to the Christmas party for our new “Group.” We haven’t picked out a name, so right now it is “The Group.” We are artists, craftsmen, and sewers, and love to be with each other and share are arts. Mary Lou’s box
was filled with Christmas goodies, Susan’s box had gifts from Evelyn, Karen, and Susan, and Brian and Kevin’s box was full of goodies of all kinds. Now I have known the girls for years and see them all the time. But, I only know Brian and Kevin because we met on line when I ordered Brian’s first book. Brian and I have talked on the phone for hours and we did everyday for months. He was new in the quilting world and we talked about all aspects of quilting. Brian called and told me that Kevin could fix my Skype on line from Indianna and we were going to open our presents together on line so we could see each others expressions. He did and we had a great time laughing and Ooooing and Ahhhing. Merry Christmas, my dear friends!!!! And thank you for all the great gifts.
