My Four New Dining Chairs and Covering the Seats

headI got a call from my friend Skipper one day at school. He was at the estate sale warehouse in Texas. He asked me did I want the four carved back chairs  had really like there. I told him yes, but I didn’t want the two corner chairs and that he wouldn’t break the set. Well, there was a dealer there that wanted the 2 corner chairs. Since I don’t have a corner I didn’t want them, but I wanted the 4 chairs with no arms. He said he usually NEVER breaks up a set of antiques, but in this case he would because we both didn’t want all six of them.  Skipper brought them home when he came back to Arkansas and brought them to the house. I went to a sale at Roy Dudley’s in Little rock and they were selling fabrics of all kinds I found a gold-on-gold stripe that  thought would look good on the chairs and in the house and bought the whole roll for $25. I called  Joan one Sunday afternoon and she came over and it didn’t take us 3 hours to do all four chair bottoms. so, here’s Joan and here are my new dining chairs. Now to find a table to go with them.  Joan chairs
