Thanksgiving on Petit Jean Mountan

Thanksgiving 2013, Nov 047My family was scattered this Thanksgiving, so I took Mama out the night before to Mike’s Place in Conway. I was invited to go up to Petit Jean Mountain on Thanksgiving and have an early supper with the Ettman’s, and Giovannini’s at the Mimm’s house. The view up there is spectacular from the deck of the house. You can see Ada Valley, the Arkansas River and the paper mill. Just a fantastic view. Well, we all cooked, and ended up with two kinds of turkey and dressing, gravy, roll, peas, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, green bean bundles, ambrosia, 2 pecan pies, chocolate pie, pumpkin pie, andEtt 1 apple cake.  After we ate we played games and watch football.  It was different for me to not be with my family, but I guess we are closer than family in many ways. Thanks for the invite. It was a blast. Love y’all!Ett 2Ett 3
