I was invited to Anne and Ben’s house for supper to see her son John who had come home for the holidays from Turkey. They had invited Carol and Ken to come, but they had driven straight through from Virginia  and were wiped out. They decided to meet Friday at Penjamo’s and Carol invited me. John and Carol were in the same class at MHS where I taught and they graduated together.  John is a writer and researcher in Turkey, and Carol and Ken live on a farm in Virginia. Ken works in Washington. The conversation was great and the food was good. I love my friends. I’m glad they included me.
