My Blog in Review for 2013 – The Stats

queenThe concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. My blog was viewed about 31,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 11 sold-out performances for that many people to see it. In 2013, there were 206 new posts, growing the total archive of this blog to 660 posts. There were 942 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 782 MB. That’s about 3 pictures per day. The busiest day of the year was December 1st with 556 views. On December 22nd and 23rd there were 1,100 veiws and on the last three days of the year there were 1,028 views. The most popular post that day was “Decking the Halls – My Trees are Up.” These are the posts that got the most views in 2013:

How did they find me? The top referring sites in 2013 were: Facebook, Pinterest,  Some visitors came searching, mostly for scrap quilts, jim gatling, scrap quilt, jim gatling blog, and jim gatling quilts.  Where did yhey come from: That’s 87 countries in all! Most visitors came from The United States. Canada & Australia were not far behind.

My most commented on post in 2013 was Going to Pot 2  These were the 5 most active commenters:
