Morrilton Sit and Sew – January 2014 Meeting

Fannie's scraps and antique toys 035Thursday was our monthly Sit and Sew. Present was Mary L., Margaret, Barbara, Joan, Natalie, Mary P., Jackie, Fannie, DeeEtt, and me. We meet in the studio around the big tables. The hand sewers sit on the couch. Everyone was doing something different and we shared our show and tell and discussed our summer mini retreat. Margaret was working on herSAS 1 embroidery snowman quilt blocks, Mary L. showed us her crocheted doll blankets, Joan was binding her calendar red quilt, Jackie was making tissue paper flowers for Valentine’s gift. Barbara was sewing scrap blocks, mary P. was sewing, DeeEtt was making sock monkeys. Natalie showed her latest quilt and visited. Fannie was sewing on the machine. And I was working on a scrap top out of Fannie’s leftovers and scraps. Fun time!!sas 2
