Guest Bedroom Ready for Company

jeff remodel bedroom bath room 035I stayed up Saturday night until after 12:00 to get the guest bedroom back in order. It took a very long time because of having to unwrap all the breakables and clean the cabinets and put everything back up. I woke at 4:00 and got a bath early and finished loading the cabinets and hanging the paintings and purses. This room houses several collections. I have a small curio cabinet that has the collection of Elfinware and chinaGuest bedroom 1 figurines with applied flowers. On the wall by the closet there s a collection of white beaded bags. Above the headboard there is a collection of chain, beaded, and enameled purses. The tall curio cabinet has Oriental wooden dolls, figural German trinket boxes and powder jars, Victoria figurines, half dolls, and china head dolls. the secretary has a menagerie of littleGuest bedroom 2 thing  just pick up, and petit point purses. The double door closet houses the whole petit point collection. But, that’s a whole post by itself. Oh, does anybody know what the needlepoint border was used for?? Ask me anything about the room or the stuff. Love to share!Guest Bedroom 3Guest bedroom 4

I’m not certain a guest would be able to sleep in thatroom with somany things to look at.

  3. Jim, My best guess on the needlepoint border is that it was the top valence of a four poster bed. It is an incredible piece. The room looks wonderful!!
