Strawberry Lemonade Ice Box Pie

End of April Fannie's quilt egg 030I’m havng some of the senior class over for supper tonight. I have had most of them for eight straight years. I guess this is my way of saying thanks for putting up with me. I love them all. They are just really a neat bunch of kids. I know so much about the after all these years. I even had 3 of their mothers at MHS. Well, I guess they know a bunch about me. Wonder what they will say at my funeral? LOL! Well, I decided to make a strawberry lemonade ice box pie. Mama used to make them without the strawberries years ago. I thought I would try it. If it isn’t good we’ll throw it away.  I got 2 quarts of fresh strawberries, a can of pink lemonade, 2 pie shells, and a big thing of Cool Whip. I cut up the berries, let the lemonade thaw a little, blended those together, and then folded in 1/2 a carton of Cool Whip. I poured it into two shortbread pie shells and froze with some berries on top. I’ll let you know tomorrow night if they ate it. LOL!pie 1
