My quilt friends in Tulsa, Gary, Joe, Dianne, and Susie, are working with the Tulsa Quilt Show. This weekend was the time that you had to get the paperwork in so you could enter. I decided to send 8 quilts. They are: “Insanity” which is the woven block quilt; “Army Green is Not My Color” the AQG Color Challenge; “Rustling Roses” made from scraps of the floor; “Bobbie Always Wanted a Log Cabin” made from Bobbie Samples scraps; “Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves” made from scraps; “Sharon’s Complicated Heart” made from gifted fabric and a silk screen print Sharon Heidingsfelder made; “Seventy Six Bottles of beer on the Wall” made with 76 different fabrics for the center block; and “Dog Berries” a miniature fused applique and thread painted dogwood block quilt. The eight quilts are for the last few years. The show doesn’t have a date cutoff and you can basically enter anything. have over 70 new tops and I do need to get some new ones quilted. Don’t miss the Tulsa Quilt Show in June!!!
