We Really Live in a Beautiful County!

mtLast weekend I spent two days going up and down the mountain 10 times to help with a wedding. I started taking pictures on the way up, because all the greens were so green with all the rain we have had this late spring. Everything looked so pretty. When we got to the brow on the other side of the mountain  there were several places where you could see Mt. Magazine, the river valley, the Arkansas River, and Russellville. At one time the scene reminded me of a patchwork quilt in browns and greens. It was  really a beautiful sight.MT 1mt 2mt 3

Too bad you couldn’t have spent more time in NY STATE when you took the trip to “The City! We have the Adirondacks, the Catskills, the Niagara River, the Hudson river, the Erie Canal, Watkins Glen, Niagara Falls…..
I’m just sayin’! – give us a try someday and savor the beauty of our state!

New York is absolutely fascinatng to this good ole country boy from Arkansas. If the circumstances were totally dfferent I know I would have enjoyed the trip. But being driven in a U-Haul in New York was not the most pleasant experience I have ever had. Someday I want to come back for a week or more. Not for just 6 hours.
