People are So Nice, Especially Quilters

Tulsa Quilt Show and Blue Suede Shoes 141Everywhere I go to teach or lecture or quilt I find nice people. When I was in Tulsa at the quilt show a friend, Janie Sutterfield, asked me if I had a sewing machine travel tote. Why, no. I just put mine in the front passenger’s side and strap on the seat belt. Well, she had ordered one and it came with a small broken piece inside. She got a replacement one from the company and they told her not to send the broke one back. She gave it to a friend, the friend used it. Then when she got a new one she gave it back to Janie. I wasTulsa Quilt Show and Blue Suede Shoes 186 thrilled. I have never had something to carry my machine in. Well, then she gave me a stack of challenge blocks she won and wanted me to put them together. No problem. LOL! And while we were eating in the break room they started collecting the plastic silverware for me to take home to Mama for her breakfast club. Thanks, Janie,  for everything!!!!!Tulsa Quilt Show and Blue Suede Shoes 195Tulsa Quilt Show and Blue Suede Shoes 182

That’s a VERY nice gift, I have one and love it. It does collapse when you don’t need it or you can just store stuff in it!
