1960’s Grapes Made into a Hanging Mobile

Chicke Pot Pie, Peach cobbler 017My friend, Deanna, is always finding me stuff. She brought in a sack of multi-colored big colored plastic balls with metal holes in the top of the. it took me awhile to figure out what they were. They were those big balls that made clusters of grapes in the 1960’s. Peole had them on their coffee tables for decorations. Well, I decided to make a mobile out of them.  had to clean out the holes and get rid of the wires. I had a photograph mobile hanger in a box left from my last order. The balls wouldn’t stay on the metal toothy clamps. So, I took off the clothespins/clams and just hung them from the loop at the end of each wire. it was simple and easy and fun. Now to make about 5 more to use up all the grape-balls.grape balls
