Marty Cleans Out Again

Stained glass door, Fayetteville, Antiquing Clarksville. Barbara 051My friend, Marty, who was a member of the Little Rock guild now lives in northwest Arkansas. She is a member of the guild I taught at last week. She came bringing gifts. She’s always cleaning out and getting rid of things she no longer wants to store. She’s given me fabric, quilt blocks, a light fixture that’s now in my back bedroom, table linens, silver serving dishes and now crystal pieces.  These were wedding presents that she had stored in the original boxes and never used. They still had the labels on them. I was thrilled to get the Polish and West German lead crystal pieces. The vase box says, a Price Creation, Bellmawr, N.J. #3174, lead crystal, hand cut. The label says Eght Bleikristall, lead crystal, over 24%, hand cut. The 2 cut vases were wrapped in heavy slick paper with Polish writing. The only thing I could figure was that it was 24% lead crystal. The gold label on each says Since 1934, B. Koscianski, Genuine crystal,  PbO 24%, Hand Made in Poland. Thank you, Marty,  for the great additions. crystal 1

  1. I am glad that they are out where people can enjoy them. What a wasted to stay in the boxes for all those years.
