Cherry Vanilla Snow Ice

Watercolor carrots and tomatoesToday, when I got up I looked out and it was white. Ice covered snow everywhere. I never by milk because I don’t drink it, don’t have kids, and it always spoils before I use it up. I wanted to make some snow ice cream. I got some sugar and vanilla and a touch of water and poured it over a bowl of snow. Ok, nothing to win an award. But when I was cleaning up the kitchen, I thought of a snow cone. I went outside and packed a short glass with snow. Came in and mixed maraschino cherry juice and vanilla with a little water and used a kitchen funnel to get the juice down the sides and in the middle. It was great.
