March Snow Pictures

Snow CAQ 073At 11:00 this morning I went outside to check the car and the snow. The sun  was already melting the back and the passengers’ side windows. I brushed it off and moved the car around so the sun would melt the front. The snow was pretty and the sun on it was so bright. I had a little trouble with my eyes when I got back it. Needed sun glasses. I never have a place here to take “pretty” snow pictures. Just got to shoot what’s here. So, these are my March 2015 snow pictures. Jim, wanted to let you know that at our guild auction yesterday, the quilt that was made from blocks made in your workshops in Beaumont a couple of years ago, which you assembled into a quilt top and then mailed to me to quilt was auctioned for $1200 for our guild and our two charities. It was the second highest bid that won the quilt during the day – only one other went higher, at $1300. So thank you so much for coming to Beaumont, making the quilt top. I am pretty sure you posted a picture of it before you sent it to me and I think it was posted on our guild website – after our quilt show in Feb 2014. Best wishes always! Dot Collilns
