Sunday Lunch with the Beards

Candle sticks Joan 023Joan texted and invited me to come eat lunch with her. Wade and Tina were coming with Bailey and friend-boy Alex. Brian and Marissa were coming in from a trip to Oklahoma. I had Jesus in the yard finishing up from last weekend and Jeff the Bulb Changer and Limb Cutter was coming with the big ladder to change out over 30 light bulbs that were out in the house and cut the limbs AP&L didn’t cut that were interfering with the main wires to the house. Three ring circus here. Well, I finally got away and lunch was fantastic. I was met at the front door by 6 dogs. Every family dog was visiting for the weekend. Joan is such a wonderful cook. You never know what she might throw into the pot. She had fixed two pots of soup, an asparagus salad and individual cornbread. It was really good. She told us she didn’t fix a dessert. I told her that was why I had come. LOL! We watched “Billy Madison” and then I had to go do stuff at the house. Really a neat Sunday afternoon. Thanks!!Joan 1 Joan 2
