Quilt Brings $1,200 to Guild

108_IMG_2320[1]I got notification from my friend Dot Collins in Beaumont. Texas that the quilt top I put together from the house and tree blocks the quilters made in my scrap workshop won a second place in their quilt show.  I think Dot quilted it for the guild to sell it at their auction. It brought $1,200 for the guild fund.  Congratulations quilters!!!!

Of course Dot did a beautiful job quilting it. Only one quilt earned more at the auction. It was a fun class and we really appreciate your putting the top together for us. Thanks!
