Morrilton Estate Sale

turtles watercolor paintings 062A friend called and said I needed to go to an estate sale this week up on Rock Street. I went today and it was someone I had known. The house was full and I got to shop. A life time of stuff now being discarded. Well, I found a sterling silver pie server, a set of Fosteria crystal napkin rings to match mine, 2 wooden Christmas ornaments, a wisk broom, a tatting shuttle, a bale of cotten key chain, a small laundry basket, an inlaid cribbage board, and a brass stand. Small treasures to add to my junk, I mean my treasures. LOL!c 1c 2turtles watercolor paintings 062C 3

I love the tatting shuttle. I just wish I knew how to tat. If these hot flashes do not stop, I am going to have to go on a mission to find all of the religious fans I can find. I remember when all of the old ladies in church had a fan similar to the one you bought. They would sit there all summer fanning themselves. Missed you at the guild meeting last week.

you paid $5 for a cribbage board and it is in good condition. After our home place was burglarized and trashed, I found Daddy’s cribbage board. I can remember playing the game with him when I was a kid.
