Wine and Cheese – Primitive Miniature Watercolor

turtles watercolor paintings 024Sometimes, I Google stuff to get ideas for paintings. I had been looking at some Matisse paintings and decided to do one based on a glass of wine and some cheese and crackers on a table with a large bouquet of flowers. In the background is a portion of a Matisse hanging on the wall. This wasn’t that hard to do except for the fact it was so tiny. I think this one is a 3 inch by 5 inch watercolor.  Look for the penny to tell how big it is. I like the outcome.turtles watercolor paintings 024M 1M 2
