Mrs. Sloan was a leading citizen of Jonesboro, Arkansas. We are very honored to be liquidating her beautiful estate. I heard one of the men say he loved working there because he always saw things he had never seen before. I always like going because it’s like a fancy museum where you can touch, feel, and buy. ROY 2I  purchased:  Two silver-plated grape scissors at $6.00 each, silver-plated candle snuffer at $4.00, a $16.00 pair of Fitz and Floyd ceramic swan candle holders, pair of silver plated candlesticks with raised figural scenes at $10.00, china perfume bottle with raised flowers at $6.00, a vanity jar with a petit point lid at $4.00, A Swedish hand-painted wooden miniature horse, (It matches the large one I have and the one I got in Conway Wednesday) for $2.00, petit point pill-box for $2.00, Elfinware basket with raised flowers for 8.00, china Dresden-like small bowl for $3.00, a silver heart photograph stand for $2.00, a cut crystal perfume bottle for $12,00, a Nippon hand-painted planter for $30.00, a white creamer for $3.00, a picture frame for $2.00, and a framed print for $10.00, a glass serving spoon at $6.00, a cut glass toothpick holder at $8.00, two pair of tongs at $8.00 and $6.00, a Charlie Mc Carthy silver-plated spoon at $5.00, and two silver-plated pie servers at $8.00 and $6.00.

    Love, love, love the Fitz and Floyd. The bottom of the piece matches a pattern I have, or at least it looks like it does.

      It matches my Huntdishes by Royal Doulton. I have a duck, deer and fox china box that goes with it, too.
      I’ll use them on my table when I really want to do it up.
