Strawberry Pineapple Pecan Tart

strawberry 001Tonight, I was waiting on friends to come and spend the weekend. It is 11:19 and they said they would be here around 12:30, (I’m betting on 1:30.) Well, I didn’t have anything to do , so I decided to make a Strawberry Pineapple Pecan Tart. I didn’t want to make the individual ones, so I made a large one. I am going to post the dough recipe and you can search for Tarts on my blog to see other recipes. After you make the dough you take a box of strawberries, a 100 calorie pack of pineapple without the juice, a cup and a half of sugar, a cup of chopped pecans and pecan halves for the top and stir until sugar dissolves. Spray pan with non-stick spray and pat dough on bottom and on sides. Pour fruit mixture in and lay pecan halves on top. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown and pecans are cook and mixture is thick. Yum Yum!!!recipe-1[1]
