Coloring with The Group at Susan’s this Week

group oct 2015I guess we are getting older. It’s harder for “The Group” to get together. The main body of our group have been together for years.  We disbanded for a while and then some of us got back together, asked some new people to join us and away we went. For several years we met once a month, but lately we have had family, illness, life and for me, work, get in the way of us meeting together. BUT, we did meet this week at Susan’s. It was Pat, Susan, Jean, Mary Lou, Sherry, Bibi, Evelyn and me. It was the first time we met without Kelley. She died this summer and we sure did miss her. We decided to bring our adult coloring books and colored pencils and sit around the kitchen table and color all day. it was a blast. We had a wonderful time discussing different patterns and different colored pens and pencils. We had show and tell and had lunch together. Susan made an upside down pecan cake. It was wonderful!!!! Thanks, Susan!
