Tree of Life Design in Wooden Carved Hand-Painted Frame

Watercolor Tree of life 1When I buy frames I look at them and think what will type of painting will go in them. When I found this wooden hand-carved, hand-painted frame I knew it was going to be a challenge to see what I could find to put in it. I remember one of the books I taught stitchery out of had a Tree of Life design in crewel on the front cover.  I thought that something like that would fit the frame. I was really surprised how many different types of designs there are and what countries they come from.  I think this one is real different and has a unique look. watercolor Tree of life 2watercolors 028
