Sometimes It’s the Little Things

potholders 018oct 2 003Thursday I had one of those hectic days and was running constantly. After I got out od school at 11:30 I ran to the bank then had an hour to kill so I went to  flea markets downtown. I found a crystal platter I looked at twice in the second one, but I thought they wanted too much for it. So, I didn’t get it. I went home empty-handed. Got home in time to go back to town for a dentist appointment that ran long and then I raced to get my hair cut. When I got through, I walked next door to the flea market there. I was just browsing, wasn’t looking for anything. I found a clothes brush for a present for a friend the was only $5.00. In a case in the back was four cherub vases, the kind I have been collecting for years. There they were four of them taped together. Of course there was no price! I have paid up to $30.00 for one. I took them up to the counter and the man said something in a muffled tone I didn’t understand. I asked him how much for everything and he said, “Seven.” OMG! TWO DOLLARS for four!!! Fifty cents each!!! Bargain of the decade. Sure glad I stopped.potholders 005
