First Methodist Market Place Sale – Part 2

Oct B 036I had to kill a few minutes yesterday morning, so I went back to the First Methodist Church Sale again. They were having a $5.00 bag sale. I got a few new items: 4 cookie presses, a cup and saucer and two small china pieces. Then I went back to the linen room. I got all of the white linens that were left.  So, for around $20.00 I got: 7 large linen table clothes, 3 square linen table clothes for card tables, and 106 napkins. The napkins were in bundles of 12, or 8, or 6, or 4, and then there were some odd single. AND, I have already spotted, washed, ironed and sorted all of the napkins!!!!!!!! I guess I am the only one around that this  is fun and a great bargain. I have ironed two of the big clothes and have the rest to do today. I couldn’t buy paper products that cheap!  I iron in the studio and the linen closet in the front hall. I have to put the table clothes on the back bed to get the final dampness out. It’s a process that I have worked out through the years that works for me.
