Polishing Unusual Silver Is Fun

watercolors Oz 071 I don’t know why people don’t like polishing silver. If you have silver you have to polish it, or eventually you will not have it to polish. I took one of those Southern mansion tours one time and there was a black woman dressed as a maid. Her job all day was to polish the silver. I could do that. I have never minded polishing silver. I have a couple of friends that love silver, but hate to polish it. They bring it to me periodically, I polish it and I call and they pick it up. A couple of weeks ago a dealer brought over a whole box of silver that he needed polishing. There were some unusual pieces, but when they picked it up they brought in a Victorian water pitcher that was one of the prettiest pieces I have ever seen. It was heavily decorated with cherubs and vines. I’ve never seen anything like it. So, I thought I would show you pictures.watercolors Oz 069 pitcher
