Thanksgiving with the Mountain Folk

Thanksgiving 2015 081Since our family is scattered no one was coming on Thanksgiving. The Ettmans, Mimms, and the Giovanninis invited me for their Thanksgiving. We’ve all been close friends probably 35 years. Everybody cooks and everybody brings too much. But, it is always great food and good fellowship.  I brought a bunch back, so I had the grandkids spend the night Friday and we cooked for Blake and Cindy for lunch Saturday. To me leftovers are always better the next day.  Most of the stuff has disappeared or has been made into school lunches and frozen. I thought I was through, but tonight I have to cook a huge ham for a party in Conway Tuesday night. Life goes on. e2 e 1 e3 Thanksgiving 2015 088
