Sewing Weekend with Jackie… and Marty … and Debbie

J 2I was invited to go to Hot Springs Village and sew all weekend with Jackie, Marty and Debbie. We did it last year and had a blast. This year it was even more fun. Marty was coming from Rogers so she picked me up. Her car was really full with all our sewing stuff and food. We had a good trip going through Perry County. No color on the leaves, everything was brown. Got there and unpacked and started sewing. I was working on some blocks Eddie had given me, and they worked on putting some quilts together. I made 4 pillows and decorated 4 hand towels for Christmas presents. I cooked supper Friday night and had roast and veggies in the crock pot, green peas, and rolls. It smelled really good all day cooking away. We plan to do it again real soon. Everyone brought something to cook. We got lots done and had wonderful meals. A great way to start the holiday. Friends, food, ans sewing.J 3J 1
