Finding Shaped Rocks

When I was young I would lay down in the grass and look up in the sky and find shapes in the clouds.  Years ago when I met my quilt friend, Patricia Eaton,  I found out she collects heart shaped rocks. So, anytime I am standing in a rock bed or in a road with rocks, I look for heart shaped rock for Pat. When I was at Jackie’s for the weekend in Hot Springs Village I found these rocks. I will paint the top row. The bottom row of heart shaped rocks with stay natural and will be a gift to Pat. So, the next time you are staring at a pile of rock, try and find a heart shaped one.rocks
