Hope Quilt Guild – Part 1

Last Saturday the Hope Quilt Guild asked me to do a workshop for them at the Emmet, AR Storm Shelter. Emmet is 8 miles from Hope and the Storm Shelter was an old school that is used for functions now. It had plenty of room and great lighting. I asked Deanna to go and drive, because I have not been sleeping much since the lightning strike. She did and we had a great time. They have a wonderful group of quilters. I have taught there before and it was good to see old friends. The workshop they wanted was the snowflake quilt block. We all had a blast and I think they all enjoyed the day. They had a wonderful potluck and we enjoyed the lunch together. They asked me to come back and teach the Insanity Block. Now that I know where Emmet is, be glad to come again! Thanks, Hope Guild for a wonderful quilting day.
