Quilt Show Boutique

At the Tulsa Quilt Show the guild members bring any old thing they are getting rid of like books, notions, unfinished projects, and any type of stitchery items to sell. They have a room they call the Boutique. I call it the Bazaar, because there is some bazaar items in there. But, it is more fun to fun to find neat things in-expensively. I usually do a lot of buying in there. This year was no exception. I even found a white lace banquet cloth for $3.00 and two quilt tops for $3.00 and $2.00.

Great find on the quilt tops! The book in the center right “quilts” , by John Rice Irwin is a very interesting read. The museum that displays some of the quilts is a great place to go. I did a blog on it on Oct.4th ,abearsthimble.wordpress.com
