Strawberry Ice Cream

Liz and Pete gave me a Cuisinart ice cream freezer for Christmas. I have made vanilla, blueberry, blueberry lemon, buttered pecan, chocolate and strawberry. I made up my own recipes and everyone thinks they are great. My favorite is the strawberry. Take a quart and a half of fresh strawberries and a cup of sugar and blend them in a blender until they are real soupy. You can add a touch of water if they are too thick. You put a can of Eagle Brand condensed milk in the tub with the liquified strawberries and add a table spoon of vanilla. Start the freezer and spoon in a whole container of Cool Whip. It will float on top, so you have to keep spooning in down. When the freezer slows down it’s ready. I freeze mine in little plastic cups with blue lids so I won’t eat the whole thing at once. LOL! It is soooooo Yummy!!! Try it!
