Mama’s Needlepoint Purses

If you know me you know I love needlepoint and petit point. I got my love for them as a kid watching my mother and grandmother make them. Mama was an excellent needle worker. She could see the petit point better than Tee Tee, so she finished up several of Tee Tee’s purses. Recently when I was putting up things from  Mama’s house, I realized that I couldn’t keep everyone of them. I called my sister-in-law and asked her if she and her girls would want one. I described them and it was decided that that Leslie would take the initial one that Mama made and Ashley would take the oak leave one and Katy would take the flower sea foam green one. I hope them enjoy them. For as old as they are they are in perfect condition. Not a stitch out of place. I was glad they wanted them and I was glad I could share them. Mama would like that.
