The Wooden Jewelry Box

Last year I started wood burning my granddaughter, Maggie,  a jewelry box. I didn’t get it finished at Christmas. So, this year I decided to do it. I finished the floral motifs on the side and front and wrapped it. I really wanted her have it this year. I think I did okay. What do you think?

I had a small wooden trinket I decided to wood burn for Anna. It’s small and simple, but sometimes they are the hardest to do. I think it turned out all right. Someone asked me what was the secret to wood burning. I think it is repeated patterns.
