New and Old Stained Glass

I had to run to Searcy last week to pick up some Christmas presents I had ordered last year. Susan at the Glass from the Past store there, next to the town square, had finished several thing I needed done. I had two hanging window stained glass window ornaments redone. One I had made 20 years ago was a triangle Christmas tree. And the other one was 2 bells and holly. One I had given to Anne Crofoot Queen, and when she moved she asked me did I want it back. It had slipped and was trying to fall apart. Well, Susan fixed them. The other thing I had were three sorta Japanese wooden and glass candle lights. I had leftover stained glass window pieces from the old windows from the Presbyterian Church here in Morrilton. I had the clear glass taken out and the old stained glass put in for Peter and Liz, and James and  Michelle’s Christmas presents. I kept the smaller one and put a night light bulb and cord in mine and put it in the kitchen. I think they will enjoy theirs, too. She had just finished making some of her stained glass ornaments. I got two wreaths, 2 poinsettias, a melting snow man and a reindeer. I think they are really pretty.
