Antique Alley At Conway Expo Center

Saturday, Glenda invited me to go to Conway to the Expo Center to the antique show. In the misting rain we drove up and parked by the back door. We started going down the rows of vendors. It is always worth the $5.00 fee just to look and see all the different items. Lots of antiques and lots of people. I went in one booth and the dealer said, “I have been waiting on you!” Her name was Mary and she has a booth at Crystal Hills. She brought several petit point pieces for me to look at. I did end up buying 2 small trays. Oh, at the third booth I went in he had a department store shoe stand. Medium oak and in really good condition. I knew I had to have it for the alligator shoes I got from Mama’s estate. I did get a petit point purse that had muted colors. Not anything special. Just an added  purse to my collection.  I found a china doll bell, and a pie server. I had picked up another one at a friend’s sale Friday. I. also, got a small pink glass tray with two handles. It’s going to be a present to a friend that collect pink glass. It was a good day.
