Lining the Wooden Boxes

dscn1514dscn1526dscn1527dscn1528After I finished Maggie’s and Will’s wood burned boxes, I decided to line them with velvet cover mat board. I used my cutting board and my rotary cutter.  Of course rulers are involved. I would measure the bottom and get that to fit, then the sides. It just depends on where you start on the sides. The objective is to cove the sides and meet the corners. The best way is to have it a hair bigger and cut it down. It makes all the difference in the finished project.
