Melton Park Gallery, Oklahoma City

Last week I went to Oklahoma City, OK with a friend that was going to meet a painting restorer and to look at some paintings in the Melton Park Gallery. The “museum” is a family owned collection and non-profit research gallery.  They are liquidating and some of the Oklahoma paintings and research library of books will go to a college and the rest will be sold. It was such a delight to see so many different and unusual works of art. It is, also, amazing that one family collected all this original art work. It was truly an inspiring day.
