It’s Still Christmas in February at Rita and Harry’s

Glenda called and she said Rita and Harry had kept their Christmas decorations up for the bunko group to see the other night. She asked me did I want to go out and see them and their decorations. I accepted the invitation. They have  wonderful trees full of interesting ornaments and Christmas everywhere. She takes things and puts them up so she can get out her decorations. Rita collects Santas.  The house was very well decorated and everything looked wonderful. Rita was Mama’s best friend and she had something in every room that she got at the estate sale. My brother gave her mama’s china for all the work she did at the sale.  It was in the china cabinet so nicely displayed. We went through the rooms and Rita told us about things that were so special. She has a table cloth that she uses that everyone signs with a permanent pen. She, also, puts up a garland with all her family stylized as gingerbread cookies. So cute. Rita served us 2 desserts and cookies and candied popcorn, her family favorites which were wonderful. It was such a fantastic afternoon with good friends that you love.
