Sacred Heart Convent to be Torn Down

DSCN2414Recently, I had a meeting at Sacred Heart with Alisha Dold Koonce and Todd Hoyt. We were to go through the convent and see what was worth salvaging. Several people have asked for things to make things out of, or for some of the lumber, etc. I think a lot might be auctioned off. Anyway, while I was there I took several pictures of the convent, because they have asked me to do a pen and ink drawing for the Sacred Heart Bazaar. Another historic building is going to be torn down for very good reasons. But, for me, I am one that is going to miss the building I taught in for 11 years.
