An Idea from Pat Results in Her a New Quilt

My good friend,  Pat, one day about 2 weeks ago, sent me a picture of a bird machine embroidered/thread painted on some flowers. She said it would be a good pattern for wood burning. Well, I was sitting by the sewing machine and saw some off white scraps so I just put a little top together and them drew with my sewing machine. I quilted it and then I used some old lace Marty send me. She told me if I didn’t like it give it to Pat. So, I decided to use it as the binding on the quilt. The whole thing didn’t take two hours. Easy, quick and Pat gets a new quilted wall hanging with Marty’s lace.DSCN2761
